Motion sensor cameras give you to potential to get infrared digital photos of anything that trips the motion sensor. Everything gives off an IR heat signature. This means that if something unseen to the naked eye sets off your motion sensor, it was still seen as "solid" to the motion sensor because it picked up on its IR heat signature. This also could mean it may be visible on some level in the infrared spectrum of light which is where the camera portion of this system comes in. Even if the photos show nothing in them, they are still evidence that there was nothing visible that could have tripped the motion sensor. |
